GIVING IS LIVING

My work extends beyond personal transformation into active, hands-on animal welfare impact. Through the Giving Is Living initiative that I founded in South Africa, I have helped fund kennels, sterilisations, unchainings and education programmes that protect vulnerable animals and empower communities. For me, contribution is not optional. It is a way of life rooted in compassion, responsibility and meaningful action. Click the button below to learn more.

GIVING

The Story:

Giving is Living began with something simple. I saw animals suffering in silence in South Africa. Dogs chained for years. No shelter. No food. No freedom. I could not ignore it.

What started as helping a few dogs quickly became something much bigger. It became a responsibility. A commitment. A way of living.

Giving is Living supports vulnerable animals and the people who care for them. We work closely with under resourced welfare organisations. We build kennels so dogs have protection from the weather. We fund unchainings so they can move freely for the first time. We provide food, sterilisations and practical support where it is urgently needed.

This work is not about recognition. It is about relieving suffering. It is about restoring dignity. It is about choosing compassion even when it would be easier to look away.

Every kennel built. Every chain removed. Every animal fed. These moments matter. They remind us that kindness is not small. It changes lives.

IS

During my time:

When I started Giving is Living, I never imagined how far it would grow. I only knew I could not ignore what I was seeing.

Since then, we have built over 1500 weatherproof kennels for dogs who once slept in mud, rain and freezing conditions. We have unchained more than 100 dogs who had spent years tied to short, heavy chains with no freedom. Watching a dog take their first unrestricted steps is something I will never forget.

We have funded over 1300 sterilisations, preventing generations of suffering before it even begins. Every sterilisation is a future litter that will not be born into hunger and neglect. We distribute food monthly to families who love their animals but simply do not have enough.

LIVING

Help Us:

We have raised hundreds of thousands in funding, not just for our own projects but for other organisations who are doing the hard work on the ground every day. We have run education initiatives for children, built community programmes and brought people together around one simple truth. Compassion is powerful when it is lived.

This has never been about numbers for me. But when I look at those numbers, I see something else. I see freedom. Warmth. Relief. Second chances.

And I feel proud. Not for myself, but for what is possible when people decide to care and to act.

Because somewhere right now, there is still a dog sleeping on concrete. Still an animal tied to a chain. Still a small life waiting for someone to notice.

Your donation is not just money. It is a kennel in the rain. It is food in an empty bowl. It is the moment a chain is removed. It is the difference between suffering and safety.

If this moves you, please support us. Be the reason another tail wags again.
